at a discount

　　10月5日，中國建設(shè)銀行（CCB）在香港舉行推介會，計劃集資76.4億美元，預(yù)算出售264.9億股股份。招股價每股介乎1.8至2.25港元（23至29美分），為銀行2004年每股賬面值的1.59至1.9倍。

　　外電在報道中有這樣一句話：The valuation is at a discount to the country's number-five lender， Bank of Communications （BoCom）, whose shares trade at about 2.2 times book. 意思是：中國建設(shè)銀行的招股價比交通銀行6月份在香港上市時的價格相對要低。

　　這里的at a discount 即折價或低于面值的價格。例如：I bought this coat at half-price/at 50% discount. （我用半價[5折]買的這件外衣。）
